Apparently this must be the case. Remember in 1986 when the parents of John McCollum took Ozzy Osbourne to court over the lyrics to Suicide Solution?
This time is really no different.
The band Slipknot is being blamed for a murder at a South African High School. A student who was dressed as the band’s drummer, stabbed a fellow student to death with a sword and attacked and wounded two gardeners on Monday morning.
Guess who’s to blame? Not the boy who thrusted the sword into the other student and certainly not the parents for actually being parents. Nope. They’ve decided that it’s all Slipknot’s fault!
Way to take responsibility, jerkoff!
I can’t stand people who push off this crap on other people. You took a life. Slipknot did not come to South Africa to kill that other kid with a sword.
/Rant off

Denied!
Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls is not hooking up with will.i.am from The Black-eyed Peas. It was just a rumor.
She says, “That is the funniest thing because Will is like my brother and I don’t know when the last time I had seen him was. He has been on tour.”
So that kiss meant nothing???

Kelly Rowland is fuelling more rumors of a Destiny’s Child reunion!
She is hinting around that the band plans to record new material for a comeback tour. Say my name, say my name!
The comeback was revealed by Kelly to be on for next year. She has now said that her former bandmates are ready to make new music.
She says, “We’re so looking forward to working with each other again and we just need to find a time in our diaries when we can get into the studio together.”
Do you think Destiny’s Child will again share the same success as Beyonce does solo?

David Beckham might be coming to a musical near you. Scary, isn’t it? Sure, he’s a soccer star, but is his life worth being made into a freakin’ musical?
A British guy, Mark Archer says, “His rise from obsurity to international stardom, his universally acknowledged gifts as a supreme sportsman, and his Hollywood lifestyle all have the elements of an aspirational fable.”
Interesting.
He plans to bring the tale to London’s West End.
The tentative title is “David Beckham - Theatre of Dreams”.

Here at Rumors In Music, I am officially dedicating an entire category of the blog to the release of the highly anticipated Guns N Roses album, Chinese Democracy.
Buried in a deep legend after Guns N Roses lost some of their band members because Axl Rose is a douchebag, comes the legend of the mythical, never-to-be released album, Chinese Democracy. It’s been told that the mighty Chinese Democracy holds some raw power of that unlike we’ve ever seen, and only one can unleash it’s energy…..is…..Axl Rose….but did I mention that he sucks?
We may never actually hear the remixed (or whatever) is to come of Chinese Democracy. Let’s face it, do you even care?
Sources are revealing that if Axl does get off of his dead butt and release the fabled album, that he’s going to have it released through one of those big box stores, like Walmart or Best Buy.
He better not do that crap with Wally World, they censor the crap out of their music. If he does, I’ll make the official announcement that Axl Rose hates his fans.

Amy Winehouse is reportedly using The Wizard Of Oz as an inspiration for her upcoming album.
All I can really say is that someone needs to get her butt off of the drugs or something. She probably watched the munchkins while she was high and decided to write down whatever hallucinations she had.
A source says, “She loves the surreal look, sound and score. And the soundtrack and score will be a theme running throughout the record.”
What’s next, The Little Rascals?

Rumor has it that if you’re a fan of reformed boybanders New Kids on the Block, then you’re in for a treat!
Sources say that the new old stars are planning to release a greatest hits album right after the release of their new CD, The Block.
I wonder if they’re going to attempt to sing all of their old stuff for their new album.
Still think Joey McIntyre can hit those high notes ala Please Don’t Go Girl?

Brooke Hogan has taken to her Myspace blog to let us listen in tomorrow to her new song, ThnkU4LettinMeBMahself. Yes, that’s really the name. I wish I were making that up.
She says:
“Hey guys,
As y’all know, the last 12 months have been crazy. My best friend, almost brother, John has been in the hospital (I pray for him every day), Nick is in jail, my parents are divorcing, mom’s dating a younger dude, dad’s fighting the good fight, there are lawsuits back to back, and of course the paparazzi are on our ass all the time. Perez Hilton has been a major pain in mine, personally…lol. But what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger, right? I have written about my experiences, reflected them in my lyrics, and recorded some of them as new songs, some as covers of old songs and some as interpolations of other songs. I will share my music with y’all starting tomorrow, Friday the 15th. The first song is about my present life and is called “ThnkU4LettinMeBMahself.” Listen to it and write me back.
Brooke”
Did she not learn from her previous release that she sucks as a singer?

Even though Bret Michaels is hitting up a busload of hoochie in the new season of Rock of Love, the singer says that he still loves Ambre Lake.
“I still love her. I’m not really over her yet. We still hang. She was just out with me a couple days ago and we were having a great time. She’s really got it. I think she’s great.”
What I can’t understand is why if he loves her, does he feel the need to do a third season of the show? Is it that he loves her, but loves money more? What the crap?
Big John says, “But he’ll never be over Ambre. Whoever he decides to pick from season 3 is going to have to accept that as well because she comes with it.”
Ladies, hear that? Even if you endure that crappy tour bus until the very end, you still won’t have his heart. The only way I’m watching is if Heather makes a comeback.
Who do you want to see again on the show? Lacey? Jes?

Diddy is turning into the arrogant braggart that we all know he is. Apparently someone asked this fool what sport he’d do if he could participate in the Olympics.
To which he replied, “Who could have sex the longest. I think that’s an event I can do well in. And probably who could stay up the longest.”
He adds, “Just so you know, that’s supposed to be funny. Even though I am serious.”
Now, he’s twice as arrogant as I had originally thought. Douche.
